6A grade silk is the highest grade of silk, and only 5% of the world’s silk meets the 6A standard. The larger the momme (mm), the higher the density and quality of the silk. 16mm is thinner and more suitable for summer silk dresses, which is lighter and more breathable, and more cost-effective. But to ensure greater durability, we recommend choosing fabrics of 19mm and above, which are moderately priced and are the choice of most brands. If you are considering silk dresses for the autumn and winter seasons, 22mm heavyweight silk fabrics are more suitable, but they are more expensive and are also the choice of many luxury brands.
